I worked in Graphic Design for many years, doing work for a lot of corporations. Because of that background I try to be careful about just putting actual corporate entities into my stories, instead opting for obvious references. "GooseGooseSearch" seems pretty obvious, for instance. As for "Sonic"... well... sonic is a word... I don't think they can ding me for that one.
