Bale Solomon Bentford

A chubby 10 year old egghead with a Belgan surname, whose lineage might date back to the very first settlers of Meridia. Might. If not for some deliberately placed holes in the historical record. Dragged along into the many impulsive recreational activities of the Social Rejects Club's, he was unceremoniously christened with the codename "Brains."

He is rather quiet, reserved, analytical-- and fearful of the wrath of his elders -- compared to his more rambunctious peers, and has a remarkable talent for depicting the lifelike and visually striking through pencil and paper. Holding on to the promise of the planet being restored to its former health, he remains faithful towards the Global Government's declared mission to turn the world green again. Fascinated by the designs of great churning machines made for humanity's prosperity, he populates his sketchbook with mechanical curiosities and flowery sceneries alike. Despite his great passion, Easterlas would rather he make better use of his time conjuring contraptions of war to crush the dreaded unseen machinations of the "hillies," distract himself with ever dull and dreary selections of fiction, and most importantly, that he never lay eyes upon the things beyond the cities' turreted fences. Perhaps he would have good reason, after all, to find himself in the company of outcasts.

After a poorly planned visit to ESJH, if it was even planned at all, Bale finds himself in the role of a conspirator for a new kind of plan, not produced by him or another human for that matter, but conceived by a mastermind from beyond the material world. But without his friends pressuring him, can he even bring himself to betray the only world order he's ever known?

He would be voice acted by Daniel Anderson (Linus Van Pelt) of Peanuts fame if Master of Aomoda became an animated feature.
